I have to keep publicizing anything Hank Henry does – the guy is a gem.
If you like Broadway….if you dig old-fashioned musicals…then this show is for you. A bunch of very talented people (and Hank) are appearing for ONE NIGHT at the Palace Theater in Grapevine on Friday, June 13 (and of course, theater people are not at all superstitious!).
They will be doing numbers from a large selection of classic and modern musicals, crowd-pleasers all. Hank will be acting, singing and dancing up a storm (or at least a weak cold front) as Nathan Detroit in “Guys and Dolls” and Herbie in “Gypsy”, among others, and the whole evening will be loads of fun. The event is a tribute to a local patron of the arts and theater benefactor, Dr. Edith Pewitt. She’s ordered up Broadway, and she’s going to get it! This show is appropriate for the whole family.

(I know this show happed months ago, but I just found this post.) It is good to know that theater is alive and well in Dallas. Keep up the great posts — every bit helps to keep live theater alive. Cheers!
